- Knowing Christ and Making Him Known

Bonnaroo Outreach 2010

What is Bonnaroo outreach?
The Tennessee Baptist Convention and churches in Tennessee join together for a multi-faceted outreach to campers, vendors and others connected to the annual Bonnaroo festival. Beginning Wednesday and running until Sunday, volunteers are needed to staff the tent as well as to fan out into the campground to deliver gift bags containing such essentials such as hand sanitizer, wipes and sunscreen. Along the way you get to reflect the love of Jesus. At the tent campers will find food (fruits like oranges, apples and bananas), drinks (like lemonade and sweet tea), and a cool place with big fans providing a respite for campers.
Dates of Service
June 9-13,2010
Requirements to Minister at Bonnaroo
TBC Bonnaroo “Ministers of God’s Grace” must be born again followers of Jesus Christ. The staff will be individuals who have experienced God's love, forgiveness, mercy, and grace. They should be grounded in their faith, not a new believer. The staff should have a caring heart, be a good listener, demonstrate an interest in the attendee - to be a friend, and be called to be a servant in Jesus' name. The minimum age to serve at Bonnaroo is 18.
Ministry Areas
(These areas are not inside the music venue.)  You will choose one area to serve:
1.  Staffing the “More than Music” tent area (a rotation of staffing responsibilities)
2.  Ministering in the camping area and open field (backpack or similar type bag needed)
3.  Serve where needed.
