Meet Our Staff

New Vision Baptist Church is blessed by the Lord to have an
incredible team of people who serve the mission and vision of our church.

Brady Cooper
Brady is responsible for giving overall vision and direction to New Vision. He also oversees our Deacons. Brady has served as Senior Pastor since 2003. He and his wife, Amy, have two sons, Will and Clay.

Ray Moss
Executive Pastor
Ray gives direction to our Preschool, Children, Student and Legacy Teams. He also oversees our Personnel Team and Vision Team. Ray joined the staff in 2007. He and his wife, Sharon, have two grown sons, Joshua and Austin.

Doug Campbell
Doug gives direction to our Worship, Outreach, Adult Discipleship and Administrative Teams. He has served on the staff of New Vision since 1996. He and his wife, Janice, have two grown sons, Brian and Tyler.

Ross Smith
Ross joined our staff in February of 2009. He oversees finances, administration, facilities, communication and assimilation. He and his wife, Tracey, have three children, Jacob, Mackenzie, and Ali.

Tshanina Peterson
Tshanina joined our staff in 2007. She is the assistant to Brady Cooper and Doug Campbell. She takes care of the church-wide calendar, scheduling baptisms and processing members. She is married to Trent.

Jeannie Ayers
Jeannie is the assistant to Ray Moss and Ross Smith. She joined our staff in January of 2009. She is responsible for all personnel information, developing weekly, monthly and yearly metrics, and senior activities. She and her husband, John, have two grown children, Kristi and Kelly.

Blake Nichols
Blake coordinates activities at our Smyrna Campus. He has been on staff since 2009. He and his wife, Rebecca, have four daughters, Samantha, Sydnie, Sara Kate, and Shae.

Praise & Worship Team

Robbie Russell
Along with overseeing the band and music for our worship services, Robbie is also responsible for leading our college ministry. Robbie joined our staff in January of 2008. He is married to Jennifer.

Eddie Harrison
On staff since 2008, Eddie is responsible for leading New Vision’s adult, student and children's choirs. He is also part of our worship team. He is married to Jessica and they have one child, Bennett

Karl Huber
On staff since 2005, Karl gives leadership to the many technical areas of New Vision. Along with many editing and technical projects, he leads a large and talented volunteer team. He and his wife, Kelly Rae, have three children, Neal, Johnathon, and Kati.

Matt Brisolara
A/V Ministry Associate
Matt joined our staff in 2007. Along with the many different areas of audio/visual, Matt is responsible for staffing and training youth, college, and children’s ministry volunteers. He and his wife, Kathryn, have one child, Weston.

Russ Lee
Artist in Residence
Russ has been a member of our staff since 2007 and is lead singer for contemporary Christian group Newsong. He is a resource for New Vision’s teaching and worship ministries. He and his wife, Mary, have three children, Casey, Addy and Ana.

Denver Bierman
Artist in Residence
Joining our staff in 2009, Denver is the band leader of Christian band Denver and the Mile High Orchestra. He is a regular member of our worship leadership team. He and his wife, Amy, have two children, Boston and London.

Outreach Ministry Team

Phillip Robinson
Phillip has been on staff since 1999. He oversees our Outreach Team through the Integrity House. He is responsible for missions, counseling and pastoral care. He and his wife, Susan, have three grown children, Nathaniel, Andrew and Susanna.

Michael Davis
On staff since December of 2009, Michael coordinates with agencies and ministries of the Franklin Heights Coalition to best serve the physical, emotional, and spiritual needs at Franklin Heights. He and his wife, Nancy, have three children, Haidyn, Dorian and Sophie.

Deb Simon
Outreach Ministry Assistant
Deb joined our staff in 2009. She is responsible for taking care of the various responsibilities at the Integrity House, including scheduling appointments with our counselors.

Kris Myers
Adult Discipleship Pastor
Kris oversees our adult connection and community groups and other adult ministries. Kris has served on staff since 2005. He and his wife, Kathy, have two sons, Nolan and Ty.

Beth Lee
Director of Women’s Ministry
Beth has been on staff since 2006. She is responsible for leading and giving vision to support ministries related to women over age 21. She oversees our Wednesday night Women’s Community. Beth and her husband, Jeremy, have two sons, Campbell and Hudson.

Matt Reed
Adult Discipleship Associate
Matt joined our staff in 2009. He works with our Adult Discipleship Team with a specific focus on community groups. He and his wife, Tracie, have one child, Nehem.

Cyndi Cheizoo
Adult Discipleship Ministry Assistant
Cyndi has been serving on our staff since 2006. She is responsible for the various areas of the adult discipleship ministry. She is married to Rob and has four children, Ian, Meghan, Caitlin, and Jillian.

Lisa Yingst
Men’s & Women’s Ministry Assistant
Lisa joined our staff in March of 2008. Among many other things, she takes care of keeping track of our connection and community groups. She and her husband, Kenny, have two children, Ashley and Jordan.

Jeremy Lee
Student Pastor
Jeremy has an energy and determination to see students, grades 6th through 12th, and their families grow deeper in their walk with the Lord. Jeremy joined our staff in 2006. He and his wife, Beth, have two sons, Campbell and Hudson.

Brian Owen
Student Ministry Associate
Along with care to students and families, Brian is responsible for leading weekly programming and special events in the student ministry. Brian joined our staff in 2007. He is married to Katy.

Kellie joined our staff in August of 2008. She takes care of the various responsibilities of the student ministry. She is married to Gary and has two sons, Tyler and Travis.

Michael Murray
Children’s Pastor
Michael gives direction to children ages 6 through 5th grade. He has been on staff since 2005. He and his wife, Kristi, have three children, John-Michael, Lynnlee, and Graham.

Adam Nunley
Children’s Ministry Associate
On staff since 2009, Adam is responsible for leading weekly programming and special events in the children’s ministry. He also cares for the children and their families. He is married to Elizabeth.

Since 1998, Jennie has served in various roles on staff. She is currently serving in our children’s ministry. She and her husband, Lynn, have two children, Addie and Ben.

Paige Robinson
Director of Preschool Ministry
Paige leads our preschool ministry, serving children and their families from the time babies are born through age five. She also oversees our Weekday Preschool program. She joined our staff in 2006. Paige has two daughters, Megan and Julie.

Sandy Roberts
Preschool Ministry Assistant
On staff since 2005, Sandy is responsible for the various areas of the preschool ministry. She and her husband, Leroy, have three children, Sarah, Curtis, and Brady.

Teresa Woods
Weekday Preschool Director
Teresa is responsible for planning, staffing and coordinating New Vision’s Weekday (Tuesday/Thursday) Preschool program. She has been on staff since 2008. Teresa and her husband, Richard, have two children, Lunden and Spencer.

Weekday Preschool Director
On staff since 2009, Kristi assists in the various roles of New Vision’s Weekday Preschool program. She is married to Michael and they have three children, John-Michael, Lynnlee, and Graham.

Glenda Pearson
Guest Services Coordinator
Glenda coordinates our First Impressions Team. She assists first time guests in finding a place to build relationships. She also assists in finding a place for those who are ready to serve in the many areas of the church. Glenda has been on staff since 2007. She and her husband, Steve, have two children, Bailey and Loren.

Kim McGowen
Director of Communications
Kim oversees the organization and release of all church-wide communication. She also utilizes her creative talent to coordinate the development of all of our promotional materials. She has been on staff since 2007. She and her husband, Mike, have three sons, Joe, Aaron, and William.

Financial Assistant
Dona takes care of the many aspects of the church finances. She joined the staff in 2007. She and her husband, Wayne, have two grown children, Chad and Emily.

Pam Strebe
Receptionist
Pam joined our staff in 2007. Along with being the sweet voice you hear when you call the church office, she takes care of ordering the various office supplies. She and her husband, Gary, have two grown children, Mendi and Paul.

Amy is one of the helpful voices you hear when you call the church office. She is married to Brad and they have one child, Zac.

Kirk Naylor
Facilities Manager
Kirk takes care of managing our facilities team. He has been on staff since 2002. He and his wife, Karen, have seven grown children, Sam, Odus, Niki, Erik, Thomas, Amy and Ryan.

Lynn Dunlap
Custodial Assistant
Lynn has served on staff since 2007. He and his wife, Jennie, have two children, Addie and Ben.

Aaron joined our staff in 2008. He is currently a student at M.T.S.U.

Custodial Assistant
John joined our staff in 2009. He and his wife, Jeannie, have two grown children, Kristi and Kelly.
