Pledge Your Commitment in the "Take My Seat" Campaign

We need at least 200 individuals to move their worship time from both the 9:30 and 11:00 Sunday services to either 8:00 am or 5:30 pm Sundays. We’d like you to consider making a one-year commitment to one of these options and let us know by email, online, or by filling out the communication card and dropping it in the offering plate or on the altar. Join us at the NEW Sunday 5:30 pm* Service or 8:00 am Service to "make room for more" people at the 9:30 and 11:00 am Services!

*New SUNDAY Night Schedule
  4:00 p.m. - Groups for all ages
5:30 p.m. - Worship (w/252 Xtra for children, and ETC for preschoolers)

Wednesday Night Co-Ed Connection Moves to Room 300

Smile Savers Sealant Program

February is National Children’s Dental Health Month. Dr. Jamie Grider, a local dentist, has offered to partner with New Vision Baptist Church and volunteer his time in support of National Children’s Dental Health Month. Sealant clinics will be held in which children will be screened and sealants will be placed on permanent teeth at no cost. Sealants are a plastic coating that is applied to the chewing surface of back teeth in order to prevent tooth decay. This program is available to children ages 6-13. Applications are available at the Welcome Center. Completed applications must be turned in to the church office before February 1.

Get Connected — New Vision Small Groups

2009 is your year to get connected in a small group, and there are a lot of options!

Connections Classes

Connection Classes are a great entry point into group life. They are open groups — you can join them at any time. A complete listing of our Connection Classes is available on this week’s bulletin insert, including new Sunday afternoon classes.

Community Groups

Community Groups are another great group option. Community Groups are typically smaller, closed, and meet off campus. Members of these groups commit to each other for a specified time period to study, pray, and do life together. Great, lasting friendships are often forged in our Community Groups. On Friday, January 30, our next Direct Connect is scheduled. At Direct Connect, you’ll find out about the many Community Group options that will be available in 2009. Watch for more details and plan to join us at our next Direct Connect. If you’re interested in hosting or leading a new Community Group, email Kris@NewVisionOnline.net.

Our Adult Discipleship Team would love to help you get connected. If you have questions or would like assistance, call 895-7167 or contact any of our team members:
